The Comeback

đŸș MY COMEBACK STORY

**This didn’t start with motivation.

It started with getting broken
 over and over again.**

Senior year, everything changed.

I got leg checked.
Tore my MCL.

At first, it felt like just another setback. Something you push through. Something you come back from.

But something wasn’t right.

My hip kept hurting.
I kept saying something was wrong.

They told me it was referred pain.

So I played through it.

UNTIL MY BODY GAVE OUT

Next season—junior hockey.

Another leg check.

This time it didn’t just hurt.

It broke me.

I broke my hip.
Tore my labrum.

Everything stopped.

AND IT DIDN’T STOP THERE

While I was trying to recover

I got jumped.

My nose was shattered.

Facial reconstructive surgery.

I went from trying to rebuild

to being completely torn down again.

JUST TO FUNCTION, I WAS ON 14 DIFFERENT PILLS

Every 4–6 hours.

That wasn’t living.

That was surviving.

THEN I FOUND OUT IT WAS EVEN WORSE

CAM impingements.

Both hips.

So I did what I had to do.

Right hip surgery.
Then left.

And for the first time—

Something went right.

They said it was the best recovery they’d ever seen.

UNTIL 2 WEEKS LATER

I slipped.

Bathroom.
Bath mat.
Feet out from under me.

Up in the air

And came crashing down on my surgical hip.

BACK TO ZERO

Total reconstructive hip surgery.

Everything I just fought for—

Gone.

BUT I KEPT MOVING

I started working at Skyzone.

Somehow, I ended up on Undercover Boss.

Life gave me a glimpse of something different.

A way forward.

THEN CALIFORNIA CHANGED EVERYTHING AGAIN

Training for my new position.

Car accident.

My hip popped out of place.

Tore my SI band.

AND THIS TIME
 IT DIDN’T HEAL RIGHT

Chronic nerve damage.

Through my entire body.

I was bedridden.

On a cane.

For three years.

Three years of watching life move without me.

THIS WAS ROCK BOTTOM

Not loud.

Not dramatic.

Just still.

Pain. Every day.
No movement.
No progress.

Just surviving.

AND THEN
 I MADE ONE LAST DECISION

I needed something to keep me alive.

That’s when I found Jax.

JAX SAVED MY LIFE

We started walking.

At first, it was nothing.

Just getting outside.

But every day—

We went a little further.

A little longer.

A little stronger.

The woods became my recovery.

Step by step

I started coming back.

THEN I TOOK IT FURTHER

Bodybuilding.

Transformation.

Control.

Discipline.

I entered my first competition—

And won.

FROM BEDRIDDEN
 TO WORLD STAGE

I made it to Worlds in London.

After everything—

I was standing on a stage I once thought was impossible.

BUT THE COMEBACK WASN’T DONE TESTING ME

I needed a PAO hip surgery.

Back to learning how to walk.

Again.

AND THIS TIME
 I DID IT ALONE

My PT got canceled.

So I figured it out myself.

Laps in the pool.
Rebuilding from scratch.

No help.
No safety net.

Just work.

AND AT THE SAME TIME—JAX NEEDED ME

He had knee replacement surgery.

So while I was relearning how to walk—

I was carrying him.

Up and down three flights of stairs.

Every day.

Because he never quit on me.

So I wasn’t quitting on him.

6 MONTHS LATER
 I WAS BACK ON STAGE

Not just back.

Competing against people with no injuries.

No setbacks.

No excuses.

AND THEN LIFE HIT AGAIN

I got out of an extremely toxic relationship.

Finally got my own place.

A fresh start.

3 DAYS LATER
 MY BEST FRIEND WAS MURDERED

Clark.

Gone.

Just like that.

No warning.

No second chance.

AND THAT CHANGES YOU FOREVER

You realize how fragile everything is.

How fast everything can be taken.

How important it is to actually live.

SO I KEPT GOING

Because stopping wasn’t an option anymore.

I’ve now done 10 bodybuilding shows.

Not because it’s easy.

But because I refuse to go backwards.

THIS IS WHERE COMEBACK NATION WAS BUILT

From all of it.

The injuries.
The surgeries.
The accidents.
The losses.

The moments that could’ve ended everything.

WHAT IT MEANS

The wolf is the lone grind.

The part where it’s just you—no one coming to save you.

The mountains are the climb.

Because nothing about this is easy.

And it’s not supposed to be.

THIS ISN’T JUST MY STORY

It’s proof.

That no matter how many times you get knocked down—

You can still come back.

WELCOME TO THE COMEBACK

This isn’t about clothing.

This is about survival.

This is about rebuilding your life when everything tries to take it from you.

YOU’RE NOT FINISHED.

YOU’RE JUST GETTING STARTED.
